London…its time to relax!

Natasha Dwyer founder return to glory ukWe pack so much into our daily lives; there seems barely enough time to keep up. So we seek out mobile timesaving products to keep up. Picking up coffee-on-the-go, regularly cooking with ReadyMeal components, and express coiffuring for speedy transition from work to cocktails. Even our drinks and salads are pre-mixed to release precious minutes back into Me-time or Family-time. For many years, the merry-go-round of juggling husband, two young children, pets with far too much attitude, and a full time job, with the help of every possible time saver was the story of my life. Then one day an epiphany struck. Speeding through chores with efficiency savers wasn’t actually relaxing. We all need to deeply relax on a regular basis to survive and flourish in this mad and crazy world. Ideally in the most convenient way possible, given those me-times are invariably small windows of opportunity. One of the best forms of rapid deep relaxation is having regular massages, but who has the time (or energy) to travel to and from a day spa, with the added stress of traffic, population and pollution? By the time you get home from a massage, all the stress kneaded out on the table is now sitting back squarely on your shoulders. Why bother?

massageSo I started London’s first professional in-home massage agency, Return to Glory, with the vision of helping Londoners relax. That was seven years ago. What started as a dream and three fold-down massage tables has ended up being the largest provider of on-site massage and mobile beauty services (facials, hair, nails etc) across London. With over 6000 repeating clients per annum, it seems that London was desperately in need of some deep tissue therapy. These days, I’m just as busy and still have my coffee on-the-go, but I’m profoundly relaxed. At least that’s what I keep telling my husband.
