In the Pink!
Like many women, I have a number of handbags. Love each and every one of them dearly; however there is one that always manages to find itself at my side when times are stressful. A delightful fuchsia pink embroidered Lulu Guinness; purchased back in my innovation consultancy days after a few long and mind-bending days trying to come up with “wild” ideas for Nestle Rowntree’s. Ever since then, Pink Lulu brings a little ray of hope back into even my most crankiest of days. I’ve often wondered why; so out of curiosity, I looked up the psychology of colours. Lo and behold, the colour pink represents compassion, nurturing and hope. So that’s why my Pink Lulu is like calmant in fabric. It also explains why Breast Cancer chose pink for their symbolic ribbon.
Since pink has been so kind to me over the years, it seemed entirely appropriate to get Return to Glory all pinked up to help Breast Cancer. In my humble opinion, our PINK PARTIES rock all other pink parties out onto the sidewalk! Fundraising doesn’t get much more fabulous than your own in-house beauty spa party; with massage, facials and manicures. If you’ve never had (or been to) an in-house spa party – trust me, they are HUGE FUN. And relaxing! Return to Glory has worked closely with Breast Cancer team for a while now and this year is no exception. As well as providing auction prizes for the annual London Pink Ribbon Ball, we will also be donating 40% of the total price of your Pink Parties during the month of October to Breast Cancer.
So come on ladies… are you in the pink?
