Pregnancy Yoga And Pilates

Pregnancy Yoga and Pregnancy Pilates is fantastic both for the mind as well as the body. Prenatal exercise strengthens your tummy, back and pelvic floor muscles without straining other joints so it’s a great exercise to do when pregnant. The main benefits of pregnancy yoga or pilates is that they targets the exact muscles and functions that can be a problem during pregnancy and after birth, in a safe way.

Strengthen tummy muscles, reduce back pain, strengthen your pelvic floor, improve sleep and reduce anxiety, help with balance and to control your breathing. We can tailor your pre and post natal pregnancy yoga or pilates home lessons to all levels – great for those beginning or more experienced. General guidelines are that you rest during the first trimester, start in the second trimester and continue your pregnancy fitness classes until birth and take up postnatal classes after birth.

What To Expect

Pregnancy Yoga and Pilates

As your home pregnancy yoga or pilates trainers our team work with you to set and work through a routine with you. Return to Glory works for busy people – we fit around your life and ensure you achieve the routine and goals you have in your mind. Discuss with us in advance what you want to achieve from your training and how often you want your sessions. We book private training sessions once a week, twice a month or every day – it’s entirely up to you. You can alternate your pregnancy training and the disciplines you wish to practice. The goal is to keep you on track and making progress. We bring everything with us to your home for your private pregnancy training sessions; however for your own comfort it is always easier if you are having regular sessions to invest in your own pilates or yoga mat. Feel free to rebook at the end of each training session or save by booking a course of five or ten home training sessions in advance.
