RTG deliver a wide range of massage for pregnancy treatments. One of these is Pregnancy Reflexology. A non-intrusive treatment that works as pressure is applied to specific points on the feet. These stimulate, unblock and balance the reflexes to create a sense of wellbeing and relaxation. It is thought that certain areas on the feet directly correspond with areas of the body. By manipulating these the result is extreme relaxation as well as the body’s state being altered.
Many women hoping to conceive have used Pregnancy Reflexology Massage for its hormone-balancing and relaxing properties, which could help improve fertility or prepare the body and mind for fertility treatments.
Please note you should be at least 15 weeks pregnant before beginning any Pregnancy Massage treatments. If you are having a high-risk pregnancy it is best to discuss your condition with your midwife or physician before seeking a therapist. For your RTG treatment all you need to do is to decide where in your home you would like it to take place. We recommend a quiet, warm room for massages. Your therapist will arrive with everything you need for your appointment. For Pregnancy Reflexology you will be asked to sit in your most comfortable chair or lie on your bed.
While your therapist is setting up you will be asked to fill out our massage contra-indication form. At the end of your home treatment your therapist will retire to let you get settled in your own robe, then quietly return to pack up and leave you to rest and enjoy the benefits of your treatment for the rest of the day or evening. If at any time during your home massage treatment you would like to extend your time please do ask your therapist. At the end feel free to put your next session in the diary with your therapist so you have another thing ticked off your list and your next appointment to look forward to. Drink plenty of water after your massage treatment and allow yourself time to rest.

Lais not only "ironed" all the stiffness away, she did it in a calming, soothing method that made me fall asleep (sorry if I snored, Lais!) 🙂

Priya was great. She listened to what I hoped to gain from my reflexology and talked me through what I could expect to feel afterwards. At 38 weeks pregnant I hadn't been sleeping well and my back was really sore. Both have been 100% better since Priya worked her magic! Thank you!
